Sheri Glasgow Wins Women's Bassmaster Tournament
on Lake Dardanelle

Sheri Glasgow (Muskogee, Ok.) "sealed the deal" today on Lake
Dardanelle by catching 5 bass that tipped the scales at 12-14. Here
"wire to wire" victory earned her a Triton/Mercury package valued at
$50,000.00.

1st - Sheri Glasgow - 15 bass - 46 pounds, 1 oz.
2nd - Lynda Gessner - 15 bass - 44 pounds, 3 ozs.
3rd - Tami Kashiwabara - 15 bass - 42 pounds, 7 ozs.
4th - Juanita Robinson - 14 bass - 41 pounds, 12 ozs.
5th - Pam Martin-Wells - 14 bass - 41 pounds, 9 ozs.

Glasgow Maintains Lead in Women's Bassmaster Tournament

       Sheri Glasgow leads going into the final day of competition
       on Lake Dardanelle

Sheri Glasgow (Muskogee, Ok.) caught 5 bass weighing 13-3 to maintain
her lead in the Women's Bassmaster Tournament on Lake Dardanelle.
Sheri's 2-day total of 33 pounds 3 ozs  puts her 1-10 ahead of Pam
Martin-Wells, who caught 5 bass weighing 15-2 on Friday. The field has
been cut to 25 anglers, and a champion will be crowned on Saturday.

With the forecast for rain and T-storms,  The anglers will probably see
some changes in the bite. This may be good for some and bad for others,
but it will definitely make for an exciting weigh-in at the Lake Dardanelle
State Park in Russellville. Here are the top 5 anglers after day 2:

3rd - Joan Craig
10 bass - 28-11 ozs
