Don Bales and Max Fox Win the R&H Winter Bass-O-Thon
Tournament on Norfork Lake













               Don Bales and Max Fox Win on Norfork Lake!!!

The first event in the R&H Marine/Ranger Boats 42nd Annual 2009/2010
Winter Bass-O-Thon was held out of Panther bay. The water on Norfork
Lake was at 571 which is just 9' from pouring over the top of the flood gates!
Most parking lots are flooded including Henderson which was were the
event was originally scheduled. Main lake surface temps are at 60 degree
and the bite has been brutal for the past few months.

The team of Don Bales and Max Fox took the win with 5 Bass @ 13.08 lbs.
The team also took 1st place in the Mid-Central Buddy Bass November 7th
with a huge 17.61 lb sack. They are definitely on a roll. Don and Max
reported catching all their fish on gitzits fishing a shallow ledge in the pigeon
creek area. They took home $ 1,650, Trophies and a Jewel Bait Company
tackle pack for their great day on the water.











                                           
                                              2nd Place

The 2nd place team of Butch Still and Dan Heiskel brought in a nice 5 fish
limit tipping the scales at 12.54. The team reported catching all their fish in
the Dam area 40'+ on football jigs. They took home $1,040












                                                3rd place

The 3rd place team of Johnny Robinson and JR Williams brought in 5 bass
weighing 12.30 and also the biggest bass with a nice 4.80 pound black taken
on a spinnerbait. The team fished "Way up the river" throwing spinnerbaits
and Buzzbaits to boat all their fish. They took home a total of $1300
