Jason Millsap Wins Wal-Mart BFL Tournament on Lake

Jason Millsap Wins on Lake Dardanelle !!!

The BFL finished its season on Dardanelle this weekend for it's Super
Tournament and Jason Millsap took home the top spot. He beat out the
other contenders by (3) three pounds during the two day event. This
tournament lined out the top 40 anglers in the division to qualify for the BFL
Regional that will be held at Kentucky Lake the first week in October. Here
is how our anglers caught their fish this tough weekend:
1st Place - Jason Millsap - 32 pounds, 12 ounces
He concentrated on the fish in the backwaters. He never put down his
buzzbait on the first day. The second day he did not go far to catch his fish,
saying that he caught them all within 2 miles of the ramp. He did well here in
June with a 2nd place and knocked it out of the park with a win here this
time.
2nd Place - Duke Gunell - 29 pounds, 11 ounces
Duke threw a jig the entire tournament. He mainly fished around the lower
end keying on grass and wood.
3rd Place - Jerry Williams - 27 pounds, 15 ounces
Jerry won here in June and tried to repeat his effort this time. He was
fishing a pattern in the back of pockets with a jig, mainly in the mid to upper
range of the lake.
1st Place Co-angler Herbert Kimbrough 19 pounds, 10 ounces
Herbert Kimbrough takes the Co-angler victory !!!
Herbert brought in a nice sack the first day and was only able to get three
the second day, but they were all he needed. Mainly he just went fishing
behind his partners and tried to capitalize on what they were not doing.
