Dylan Hawkins Wins the Wal-Mart BFL on Lake Dardanelle
Dylan Hawkins Wins on Lake Dardanelle!!!

Dylan Hawkins wins the Arkie Division BFL on Lake Dardanelle. The lake
has been less then stellar in the past few weeks and with fishing tough and
summer patterns starting to come together the anglers struggled to get their
fish. Only 14 limits were brought in for the tournament and there were a lot
of small sacks with 1 and 2 fish. We talked to the top finishers and they
gave us a perspective of how they caught theirs.
1st Place - Dylan Hawkins - 15.03lbs
He made a long run and was flipping laydowns with Kicker Craws to catch
his bigger fish. It was a slow bite and he had to cover a lot of water. He
caught a couple of fish on a crankbait and one on a shakey head later in
the day.
2nd place - Spencer Grace
2nd Place - Spencer Grace - 13.15lbs
He started in the Bayou and caught all his fish on a Mann's Stone Jig. 4
were caught swimming it in the grass and his last keeper and fish for the
day in a brush pile about mid day. Only 6 bites and 5 keepers for the day
but they were the right ones.
Don "broke my boat again" Vining
3rd Place - Don Vining - 13.09lbs
Don was throwing a rig, jig, and Texas rig worm. He had motor problems and
had to inch his way back close to the ramp and made it back to weigh in his
4 fish.
