The 17th Annual Walmart Distribution Childrens Miracle Network Buddy
BassTournament was held on Lake Dardanelle today and they had 165 boats
fishingfor the top prize of $1200. With the lake getting hit hard the last few
weeks and the river flow high the bite has been tough and most people
arestruggling to find the big keepers. They only had 75 boats weigh in
their fish and most of those had a 5 fish limit but only the top ten were
going home with money today. Here is how they caught their fish.
First Place
Brian Miller/Billy McCagren - 16.83lbs
They started shallow and ended deep and just threw everything they had.
It was enough to edge out the second place team by three hundreths of an
ounce.
Second Place: Chuck Mahan/Kalven Howard
Second Place
Chuck Mahan/Kalven Howard - 16.80lbs
One more keeper would have sealed the deal for them today as they only
weighed in 4 keepers. The new Walmart broken tail shad and lizard were
the main key for their fish today. Their bag was also supported by the big
bass of the tournament (6.55lbs).
