Matt Lea and Danny Myatt topped 47 teams fishing Vince Miller's Super Team Tournament this weekend on the Little Rock Pool of the Arkansas River by catching 5 bass that tipped the scales at 16.84 pounds. Rising water made the bite tough for some, but eleven 5 bass scales were brought to the scales. Here's how the top 4 teams caught their bass:
1st place - Matt Lea and Danny Myatt - 5 bass - 16.84 pounds - $2,600.00

After conferring with Vince, Matt and Danny received a replacement boat and were able to make it back to Little Rock in time to win the tournament. To top that off, they narrowly topped Adam Wright and Skipper Grise in the "Anglers of the Year race. Matt and Danny's bag consisted of fish caught in Pools 8,7, and 6. They commented that crankbaits and tubes worked off of the jetty tips produced most of their weight.
Teddy and Terry fished Pool 7, where they fished crankbaits and jigs around jetties to catch their bass.
