The duo of Billy McCaghren and Brent Stallings topped 52 teams fishing Vince Miller's Super Team Tournament on Lake Dardanelle by catching 5 bass that tipped the scales at 17.24 pounds. Overall, the Lake Dardanelle summer bite appears to be a little stronger than last year, as loads of fish were brought across the scales including 23 five-bass limits. Here's how the top 4 teams caught their fish:
Billy and Brent struggled in practiced, but found the right fish to win. They fished shallow grass early and had a limit by 7:30 AM. Later in the day, they fished offshore brushpiles, and were able to cull a couple times. Their shallow fish were caught on a Stanley Ribbit frog and a Norman Crankbait. Their deep fish came on a Berkley Power Worm. Billy McCaghren and Brent Stallings
