Terry Hopson and Teddy Bogard Win Super Team Tournament
on the Dumas Pool of the Arkansas River
Terry Hopson and Teddy Bogard Win on the Arkansas River!!!
Terry Hopson and Teddy Bogard topped 49 boats fishing Vince Miller's
Super Team Tournament on the Dumas Pool of the Arkansas River by
catching 5 bass that weighed 17.95 pounds. The River is finally falling and
the bite was on, as 24 teams brought their 5 bass limit to the scales. Here's
how the top 3 teams caught their fish:
1st - Terry Hopson/Teddy Bogard - 5 bass - 17.95 pounds - $2,500.00
Terry and Teddy started their day in Coal Pile, where they had a limit by
7:45 AM. They commented that they caught their fish on a "green" jig.
2nd - Billy McCaghren/Brent Stallings - 5 bass - 17.78 pounds - $1,200.00
Billy and Brent concentrated their
efforts in Coal Pile, where they
were greeted by a great topwater
bite. Most of their fish were landed
on black buzzbaits or Zara Spooks.

3rd - Adam Wright/Skipper Grise - 5 bass - 17.30 pounds - $900.00
Adam and Skipper caught their
first two fish "punching" mats
around 10:00 AM. They ended
up filling their limit in the last
hour and a half in Coal Pile, as
they were able to put 4 more
keepers in the boat. Their Coal
Pile fish were caught on a Zoom
Horny Toad (White).

Big Bass - Dean and Ray Jackson - 7.43 pounds - $550.00
Dean and Ray caught the day's big
bass, a 7.43 pound "Dinosaur",
slow rolling a spinnerbait through
the pads.
