Matt Lea and Danny Myatt Win Super Team Tournament on
Lake Dardanelle
Danny Myatt and Matt Lea Win on Lake Dardanelle!!!
The duo of Matt Lea and Danny Myatt topped 63 teams fishing Vince
Miller's Super Team Tournament on Lake Dardanelle by catching 5 bass
that tipped the scales at 22.09 pounds. As the weather clears and the water
warms, the bite on Dardanelle has started to get back to normal. Many
limits (24) crossed the stage and 5 bags over 19-pounds were weighed.
Here's how the top 3 teams caught their fish:
1st - Matt Lea/Danny Myatt - 5 bass - 22.09 pounds - $2,700.00
Matt and Danny fished out of a flat-bottom boat which allowed them to
access a backwater area. They caught two good keepers early on a jig, but
switched to a Senko later in the day. They commented that their bite
improved during a 2-hour period in the morning when there was cloud cover.
2nd - Adam Wright and Skipper Grise - 5 bass - 20.93 pounds - $1,250.00
Adam and Skipper fished cuts off of
the main river. Adam commented
that fish bit whatever they wanted
to throw. More specifically, they
threw spinnerbaits, jigs, and tubes
to catch their fish.

3rd - James Stafford/Robert Heaton - 5 bass - 20.52 pounds - $1,000.00
James and Robert "went way
up river", almost to Ozark Lock and
Dam. Their fish were caught on
spinnerbaits that they fished close
to the bank.
