Adam and Judy Hurley topped 26 teams fishing Vince Miller's Arkansas Couples Tournament on the Arkansas River in Little Rock by weighing 5 bass that tipped the scales at 11.96 pounds.

1st - Adam and Judy Hurley - 5 bass - 11.96 pounds
Adam and Judy ran a "run and gun" pattern that involved lots of moving and alot of casts with crankbaits. They started their day by locking up to Pool 7, where they caught 2 keepers. Adam said they had been catching alot of big Kentuckys in Pool 7, but today they just didn't fire. They made their way back to Pool 6, where they were able fill their limit. They took home $850.00 for their efforts.
2nd - Will and Roberta Cranston - 5 bass - 11.11 pounds
Will and Roberta stayed in Pool 6 to take second place. They concentrated their efforts on jetties and sand points, where they threw Carolina-rigged Zoom Baby Brush Hogs. They boated over 50 bass, including 12 keepers. Will and Roberta also clinched the "team of the year" title by narrowly defeating Aubrey Johnson and Joan Craig by less than one point. 3rd - Danny and Sharon Waldo - 5 bass - 10.78 pounds
Danny and Sharon stayed in Pool 6 to catch their fish. They concentrated thier efforts around underwater jetties where they threw Carolina-rigged lizards (9-inches) in Pumpkin color. They also caught the day's big bass (4.28 pounds) and the big drum.

4th - Mark and Cindy Hall - 5 bass - 9.90 pounds
Mark and Cindy locked down to Pool 5 to catch their fish. They caught one keeper early on a buzzbait, but relied heavily on a jighead worm to fill their limit. They fished the worm near jettie tips and most of their fish came from 10 -12 ft. of water.
