Jason Keen and Jennifer Dombroski Win the Arkansas Couples
Championship on DeGray Lake
Jennifer Dombroski and Jason Keen Win on DeGray Lake !!!
Jason Keen and Jennifer Dombroski topped 21 teams fishing Vince Miller's
Arkansas Couples Championship on DeGray Lake by catching a two-day
total of 17.87 pounds of bass. Post cold front conditions and bright bluebird
skies made for another tough bite on DeGray. Here's how the top three
teams caught their fish:
1st - Jason Keen and Jennifer Dombroski - 7 bass - 17.87 pounds - $1,000
Jason and Jennifer concentrated
their efforts on a deep, rocky hump
that was situated in 30 feet of water.
They threw heavy spinnerbaits to
catch their fish (Brother Tate - 1 oz.
Fire Cracker).

2nd - Aubrey Johnson and Joan Craig - 8 bass - 17.15 pounds - $700.00
Aubrey and Joan threw spinnerbaits
and Carolina-rigged Zoom Baby
Brushhogs and Lizards (watermelon
red and pumpkinseed) to catch their
bass.

3rd - Jeff and Venita Forrest - 8 bass - 16.53 pounds - $500.00
On day one, Jeff and Venita threw
a Jewel Football Jig (3/4 oz.) in
deep water to catch their bass. On
day 2, the deep fish did not
cooperate, so they had to rely on a
Strike King spinnerbait fished
shallow to put them in the money.
