William and Amber Hope Win the Arkansas Couples
Tournament on the Arkansas River
Amber and William Hope Win on the Arkansas River !!!

(July 12, 2009) - Arkansas River, North Little Rock, and Ar)... The fourth
tournament for Arkansas’s Couples opened with a cloudy day with
temperatures in the mid 90’s. The 30 couples caught 51 fish weighing 103.46
lbs with 1/5 fish limits.
William and Amber Hope used various baits to weigh 4 bass at 9.55 lbs to
win their 2nd tournament in a row on Arkansas Couples Trail. This earned
them $950 and the angler of the year points lead.
2nd - Ken Dillon
Second was Ken Dillon who used a dark colored beaver to earn $600. He
also won the trash fish pot of $85 for a 5.66 mudfish.
3rd place: Nick and Kaylynn Ruffin
Third was Nick Ruffin with 9.21 to earn him $500.
Kerry and Kevin Short
Big Bass Was a 3.72 monster caught by Kevin and Kerry Short earn them
$290.
The next Arkansas Couples tournament will be at Lake Dardanelle State
