Ken and Sandra Dillon Win Arkansas Couples Tournament on
the Dumas Pool of the Arkansas River
Ken and Sandra Dillon Win on the Arkansas River!!!
Ken and Sandra Dillon topped 27 couples fishing the Arkansas Couples
Tournament this weekend on the Dumas Pool of the Arkansas River by
catching 5 bass that tipped the scales at a whopping 22.82 pounds. The bite
was tough for most of the couples, as only four 5-bass limits crossed the
scales. Here's how the top four teams caught their fish:
1st - Ken and Sandra Dillon - 5 bass - 22.82 pounds - $825.00
Ken and Sandra fished a channel
drop located in a backwater area.
They threw Strike King Series
5 crankbaits (Sexy Shad) to catch
their fish.
Ken and Sandra Dillon
2nd - Aubrey Johnson and Joan Craig - 5 bass - 14.45 pounds - $425.00
Aubrey and Joan used two different
techniques to catch their fish. Strike
King Spinnerbaits and Texas Rigged
Zoom Speed Craws (watermelon and
watermelon/red) both produced their
2nd place bag.

3rd place - Mark and Daneen Hensiek - 5 bass - 14.31 pounds - $300.00
Mark and Daneen also used two
different patterns to catch their fish.
They flipped grass with a Gambler
BB Cricket (Blue Shadow), and
flipped trees in Coal Pile with a
Gambler 10" worm (Blueberry
muffin).

4th - Ben and Christina Blaschke - 5 bass - 11.80 pounds - $175.00
Ben and Christina fished close to the ramp, where they threw Bandit
Crankbaits (Mistake) to catch their bass.
Big Bass: Jeff and Venita Forrest - 6.45 pounds - $250.00
Jeff and Venita caught their big bass
on a ledge in Coal Pile. Their fish ate
a Bandit 300 crankbait.
