Will and Roberta Cranston Win the Arkansas Couples
Tournament on Lake Dardanelle
Roberta and Will Cranston Win on Lake Dardanelle!!!

Thirty couples came out to fish this Sunday and the one thing every angler
got was plenty of sunshine for the day but it was the team of Will and
Roberta Cranston that found the honey hole and cooled the day off with a
great sack of fish to get the win. Here is what they did to catch their fish.
1st Place - Will and Roberta Cranston - 20.42lbs and Big Bass (5.52lbs)
Will and Roberta started out at Goose Island and caught 2 keepers but were
able to cull those fish once they pulled out to deep water humps where they

2nd Place - 15.40lbs - Ricky Ellis/Alicia Helton
Alicia Helton and Ricky Ellis
Ricky and Alicia fished shallow early and caught a couple on a SPRO
Poppin Frog. About mid-day they caught most of their fish on a DT 18
Crankbait in 20 ft of water off a hump. Their last fish for the day came off a
Big Bite Baits Fighting Frog next to a laydown.
3rd Place - 12.85lbs - Danny and Sharon Waldo
Danny and Sharon Waldo
Danny and Sharon cranked laydowns along the river with Strike King Series
4s squarebill crankbaits.
