Amber and William Hope Win on Lake Dardanelle!!!
William and Amber Hope topped 38 teams fishing the Arkansas Couples
Tournament on Lake Dardanelle by catching 5 bass that weighed 14.95
pounds. With the bright blue-bird skies and lack of wind, the bite bit very
tough on Dardanelle and only 4 teams brought 5-bass limits to the scales.
Here's how the top 3 teams caught their fish:
1st - William and Amber Hope - 5 bass - 14.95 pounds - $1,000.00
William and Amber did not crank their big motor all day. They fished on the
lower end of the lake, where they threw Zoom Trick Worms (Texas-rigged)
in the grass to catch their winning stringer.
2nd - Bret Hoffman and Amy Gannaway - 5 bass - 14.49 pounds - $600.00
Bret and Amy fished in the
Delaware Bay area, where they
threw jigs (black/blue) to catch
their bass.
