Tournament on Lake Ouachita

















       Joan Craig and Aubrey Johnson Win on Lake Oauchita!!!!

Aubrey Johnson and Joan Craig topped 32 teams fishing the Arkansas
Couples Tournament on Lake Ouachita this weekend by catching 5 bass
that tipped the scales at 13.18 pounds. Fishing was good this weekend at
Lake Ouachita and half of the field brought 5 to the scales. Here's how the
top 4 teams caught their fish:

1st - Aubrey Johnson and Joan Craig - 5 bass - 13.18 pounds - $950.00

Aubrey and Joan had a great practice and it translated into great results
during the tournament. They threw Carolina-rigged soft plastics (Zoom Baby
Brush Hogs and Lizards - Watermelon color) to catch their fish. Most of
their fish were positioned in 8 - 12 ft. of water of the inside edge of the
grass. They caught "more than 10" keepers during the day.

2nd - Will and Roberta Cranston - 5 bass - 12.70 pounds - $525.00

Will and Roberta concentrated
their efforts on shallow humps that
were located in 6 - 8 ft. of water.
They threw Carolina-rigged soft
plastics (Baby Brush Hogs and

Michael and Tonya Johnson - 5 bass - 11.93 pounds - $400

Michael and Tonya's primary
pattern was sight fishing. Their
fish were landed on a Berkley
Chigger Craw (Green Pumpkin)

4th - Danny and Sharon Waldo - 5 bass - 11.05 pounds - $300.00

Danny and Sharon caught their fish
near main lake points. Their fish bit
Texas-rigged lizards and shakey
