Rules for Toad Fights

To Fish Championship you must fish at least 5 Tournaments

Rules for Friday Night Toad Fights


1.        All boats fishing Toad Fights must register & pay before launching.

2.        All live wells will be checked prior to launching.


3.        2/10’s of a pound penalty for the 1st dead fish & 1/2lb for each fish dead fish after
one. Dead fish can not be weighted for BIG BASS.  1 pound penalty for every minute late up
to 15 minutes.


4.        Can not pre-fish the same day of the Tournament on that pool or lake.


5.        Must where Coast Guard approved life vest while combustible engine is running &
must have working kill switch attached to the driver anytime the combustible engine is
running.


6.        No live bait.


7.        Only one rod at a time may be used.


8.        Fishing Area – Anything that you can get to with out leaving your boat or
locking               up river or down river (can not go through any lock).


9.        No Alcohol or Drugs prior to or during Tournament hours will be permitted (except for
prescription medication prescribed by a Doctor).


10.        Any protest must be made 5 minutes after the scale’s close.


11.        No fishing within 50 yards of another Tournament boat that is anchored with the
trolling motor up, unless permission is given.


12.        The use of cell phones, two radios, CB’s & other means of communication will not be
permitted to locate fish or improve on catch during tournament hours.


13.        Excellent Sportsmanship is expected of everyone fishing, any unsportsmanlike
conduct will be means for disqualification with no refund.


14.        Cheating will not be tolerated & if caught, that person will be bared from any future
events & disqualified for that Tournament with no refund.


15.        Horse Power shall not exceed 250hp.


16.        Any one that endangers themselves, another participant or by-stander will be
disqualified.


17.        Any contestant fishing in 2010 must become a member & sign the waver form.


18.        Points are given place by finish and amount of Boats for Team of the year.
