James Hooks and Alan Petlak Win Fish'N Stuff TNT Tournament
on the Arkansas River
James Hooks and Alan Petlak Win on the Arkansas River !!!

Fish'N Stuff's TNT Tournament Trail came to an end for 2008 this
weekend as 41 teams competed in the championship event on the Arkansas
River. With the water high and dirty, anglers struggled to catch fish. As usual
there are a few who figure it out and come in to show everyone up. This year
it was James Hooks/Alan Petlak that took home the top honors with
14.15lbs. The winning duo took home approximately $3000 in prizes for their
victory. Here's how the top three teams caught their fish:
1st place - James Hooks/Alan Petlak - 14.15 pounds
Alan and James locked down to Pool 5 and fished in the backwater areas
throwing spinnerbaits and crankbaits. They caught the their fish on Norman
Fat BoyCrankbaits and Spinnerbaits (Strike King and War Eagle).
2nd place - Tim Coyle and Marcus Beard - 12.59 pounds
2nd place: Tim Coyle and Marcus Beard
Tim and Marcus locked up to Pool 7and caught fish on the jetty points
throwing crankbaits and a Honey Buzz buzzbait. It was Lucky Craft RC 1.5
and 2.5's that got the job done and the Honey buzz kept the fish on without
losing any.
3rd place - Jason Ballentine and Jason Scoggins - 11.62 pounds

Jason Ballentine Jason Scoggins ended up catching all their fish in
little area just off the river with Jewel Eakins' jigs and Dirty jigs. It was a
simple approach and they hit them at the right time when they needed to.
Big Bass: Ward Gardner and Adam Mitchell
Ward and Adam caught their big fish on a Lucky CraftRC 1.5 in the back
water just off some wood.
