Lynn Luther and Shane Porter Win Team Bass Tournament on
Norfork Lake

The morning began at 5:00am with check in , 30+mph gust, 2'-4' foot swells and
snow. It looked as though the first tournament of Division 2 might be cancelled. After
conferring with the series officials, talking to a few veterans of the sport and a quick
survey of the angler, I decided to go on with the tournament. Blast off went well with a
few getting wet from the swells. The wind held at 30-40 mph gust throughout the day
, until 45 minutes before weigh in, it dropped back to a moderate 15-20mph gust.
Weigh in began At 3:30pm, it was apparent that the weather had no effect on the
fishing, 26 teams entered the tournament, 17 teams weighed fish. Before posting the
results I'd like to thank all who participated. Those that felt that they shouldn't fish in
those conditions and showed their support by letting our official know they'd be back
for the next tournament and wished us well, thank you. Here is the final results for our
