Anglers fishing this weekend's Team Bass Tournament on Norfork Lake
got hammered by strong storms and rain - but Link Humphries and Randy
Zigler "weathered the storm" and brought 5 bass to the scales weighing
12.16 pounds to take home the first place check of $1,000.00 Their bag
also included the day's big bass, a 3.61 pounder, that gave them another
$500.00. Here's how the top two teams caught their fish:
1st place - Link Humphries and Randy Zigler - 5 bass - 12.16 pounds
Link and Randy concentrate
on the mid to lower section
of Norfork to catch their limit.
Their bag consisted of 2
largemouth, 2 smallmouth, and 1
1 spotted bass. Their first 2
fish were caught on jerkbaits,
and the remaining 3 were
caught on flat tail grubs and
tubes.

2nd place - David and Carl Wooten - 5 bass - 10.88 pounds
David and Carl concentrated
their efforts in the middle
section of Norfork. They had
their limit at 7:30 AM, and caught
20 keepers on the day. Their
fish were caught on Megabass
jerkbaits.
