Greg and Carl Carpenter Win Trader Bill's Team Tournament on Lake
Dardanelle

                  Carl and Greg Carpenter Win on Lake Dardanelle

Trader Bills Team Trail visited Lake Dardanelle this Sunday and the bite was on!
Over 60 teams fished and they brought in some impressive limits for fishing the day
after the Wal-Mart BFL. Greg and Carl Carpenter took top honors today with five
fish weighing in at an impressive 18.75lbs. The lake has been fishing good lately and
it was a tight finish as only 4lbs seperated the top 10 teams. Here is how the top 4
teams caught their fish:

1st Place - Carl Carpenter/Greg Carpenter - 18.75lbs
Carl and Greg swam Oldhams jig in grass beds all around the main lake. It was a
run and gun pattern that had them stopping at about 40 different locations.

2nd Place- Scott Atchley/Greg Robbins - 17.56lbs

Scott and Greg made a 20 minute run and caught two limits of fish then came back
down around mid day and caught a few more to top off their 17-pound sack. All their
fish were caught on variety of jigs but they caught most of them on a Black & Blue
Jewel Eakins jig.

3rd Place - Jason Bunch/Gary Scott - 16.48lbs

Jason & Gary were caught their fish on a white spinnerbait and had a limit by 9 am.
They fished near the main river to catch their sack.

4th Place - Eddie Woody/Evan Webster - 16.22lbs

                            4th Place - Evan Webster/Eddy Woody

Evan and Eddy caught their fish on a Arkansas Hawg Caller Buzzbait and Senkos in
the grass. They fished the middle section of Dardanelle.
