Team Trail Tournament on Lake Dardanelle
Brandon Rhoden and Duke Gunnell Win on Lake Dardanelle!!!

Trader Bill's Tournament Trail visited Lake Dardanelle this weekend and
the team of Brandon Rhoden and Duke Gunnell finished top of the field
with 19.25lbs. There were a lot of fish weighed in as the 81 boat field
waited patiently to bring their fish to the scales. A calm morning
followed by a breezy afternoon and tons of mayflies greeted anglers
today. Teams talked about lots of fish being caught and lost but
Brandon and Duke had the right combination to take the win. Here is
what they did to win today.
1st Place - 19.25lbs - Brandon Rhoden/Duke Gunnell
They focused on drops all day, catching 14 keepers and only one of the
keepers came from the shallow water. Occasionally they would pull up
on some brush but mostly it was main lake drops. The key bait for them
was a jig.
2nd Place - 18.61lbs - Kelly Coble/Bruce Glover
They stayed close hammering visible brush all day. They left no branch
untouched and ran from place to place.
3rd Place - 18.42lbs - Tommy Thompson/Denny Thompson
It was a long run for them as they were fishing above spadra fishing a
frog. They did lose a couple of fish that would have taken them over the
20lb mark but were unable to get them in the boat.
