Steve Miller and Jeff Foster Win Team Bass Tournament on Lake

Miller and Foster Win with 17.23 pounds!!!
Steve Miller and Jeff Foster Topped 28 teams fishing the Team Bass
Tournament Series event on Lake Dardanelle this Saturday by weighing 5
bass that tipped the scales at 17.23 pounds. Overcast skies made for ideal
fishing conditions on Dardanelle and many limits were brought to the scales.
Here's how the top three teams caught their fish:
1st place - Steve Miller and Jeff Foster - 5 bass - 17.23 pounds
Steve and Jeff fished the Spadra area, where they caught fish on jigs,
spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Carolina Rigged soft plastics. They landed 12
keepers on the day, and their bag was anchored by the big bass of the
tournament, a 4.95 pound lunker.
2nd place - Steve and Jarred Squires - 5 bass - 16.30 pounds
Steve and Jarred fished the middle
section of Dardanelle, where they
caught their fish on topwater frogs.
They commented that the early bite
was key to their success.

3rd place - Spencer Grace and Jarred Allen - 5 bass - 16.21 pounds
Spencer and Jarred fished the lower
end of Dardanelle. They used jigs
(black/blue) around brushpiles and
drops to land their fish.
