Jared Smith and Jeremy Blaylock Win on Lake Dardanelle!!!

30 teams arrived bright and early to take part in the last tournament of the 2007
season for Sherwood Bass Club. With a north wind and a chill in the air, it felt like
fall as the anglers got ready to take off at 6:30 AM.
With the water cooling, the fish were in transition between deep and shallow which
made it a challenge for the anglers to find them. But like in most tournaments,
there is always a team or two that will figure them out. This was the case for Jeremy
Blaylock/Jared Smith who took 1st place with a 5 bass limit that weighed 13.58 lbs
and the 2nd place team of David Hargett/Jack Wood with a 5 bass limit that weighed
13.55 lbs.
Blaylock/Smith said they caught their fish shallow on plastic worms.
Hargett/Wood said they caught their fish swimming a jig through the grass.
The top ten team are as follows:
1. Jeremy Blaylock/Jared Smith - 13.58 lbs $540.00
2. David Hargett/Jack Wood - 13.55 lbs $330.00
3. Doug Shrum/Scott Shrum - 9.67 lbs $210.00
