Brad Patterson and Bryan Cox Win the Sherwood Bass Club
Tournament on DeGray Lake

49 anglers hit the water March 20th for the 2nd Sherwood Bass Club event
for the year at Lake DeGray . With all the reports lately of DeGray being
on fire and taking 15 lbs plus to cash a check, the anglers didn’t know if the
rain and a major cold front in the forecast would make the bite back off or
make it better. Lately it seemed the best fishing was on main lake points
and again today that is where the top 3 stringers came from. Taking the win
was the team of Brad Patterson and Bryan Cox with a bag that weighted
16.11 lbs. Brad and Bryan said they caught all their fish on traps fishing
points.
2nd place when to Kyle Henderson/Brian Kirkendoll who weighed in 15.95
lbs. They also said they caught their fish on traps as well as jerkbaits
fishing points.
3rd place was the team of Michael Ray/Steve Blaylock who had a weight of
14.49 lbs. They caught their fish on points by using spinnerbaits and traps.
Balance of the top ten were:

5. Ben Belton/Blake Lewis - 13.90 lbs
6. DannyWaldo/Mark Clairday - 11.73 lbs
7. Adrian and Jim Alexander - 9.18 lbs
8. Chris Stroud/Chris Lester - 8.46 lbs
9. John Hatcher/Jerry Watkins - 8.33 lbs
10. Gary Cates/Mike Herring - 8.33 llbs
Gary and Mike also had big bass of 6.08 lbs
