Lamar Bass Club Wins River Valley Shootout on Lake

Lamar Bass Club takes the Shootout!!!
The six-angler team (consisting of Danny Waldo, Chris Tinel,Tom
Price, Paul Holt, Justin Medley, and Tony Bauer) representing the
Lamar Bass Club won the River Valley Bass Clubs Invitational
Shootout tournament this Saturday on Lake Dardanelle. Lamar
defeated 7 other clubs by weighing in a cumulative total of 30.26
pounds of bass. The format of the tournament was simple - each
club had three 2-angler teams that each had a 5 bass limit. The
cumulative weight for the club was simply the combined weight of
the three 2-angler teams.
Sam Sorrells and Larry Hudnall (Saturday's Bass Club) had the big
bag of the day on the individual side. Here's how they caught their
fish:
1st (individual team) Sam Sorrells and Larry Hudnall
5 bass - 15.72 pounds
Sam and Larry fished in
the Delaware Bay area,
where they threw
spinnerbaits, jigs, and
topwater baits to catch their
fish. They landed 9 or 10
keepers on the day.
Big Bass: Trey Huddleston - 6.32 pounds
Trey was fishing for Poor
Boy's Bass Club, and threw
a Spro Bronzeye Frog to land
the day's big bass, a 6.32
pound "gorilla".
