"Professor" Seminar an "Enlightening" Experience

Wilson Frazier demonstrates proper use of fishing electronics

Story by Terrance Narveson

"The Professor" Wilson Frazier held his "It Aint TV" 101 class Thursday night
and for those who did not attend or have not attended one of his seminars then
you might as well unplug your graphs and just put a blind fold on and go fishing.
As we all know fishing is about the tools we use and how we use them, and if you
dont know how to use the tool then it is basically useless. Your Lowrance graph is
just another tool that is to be used to catch fish just like your fishing rod or lures.
In his seminar Wilson explains the basics of how to identify what you see on your
graph and what the sonar is telling you. Sounds simple.... Well it only gets better.
As we asked questions, he straightened us all out and everything started to make
sense. We all came to understand that what we were seeing was not what we watch
on our TV's but a relay of information that is no different than sticking a pole in
the water and seeing how deep the water is below the boat. We also covered the
complex - yet cool tool of GPS, which most people have equipped on their boats
these days. The simple feature of creating a way point and coming back to that
spot is not always as easy as it seems, and can be frustrating when you get to your
way point but cannot find the feature that it was supposed to be marking. Don't be
surpised if the people who attended this seminar start catching more fish, because
when you know how to use these tools correctly you are a lot more efficient which
translates into more success on the water.

Wilson does seminars all over the country and he is working on a DVD, as well as
a book which will be out at a later date. Along with his seminars, he also created
some products which are safe to use on your boat, glasses, tires, and graphs. These
products can be found on his website
www.itainttv.com , or Bryce Smith can be
contacted at 479-886-3413 to sell these items. We will be talking to "The
Professor" about doing another seminar at a later date, and I highly suggest
everyone to attend. The results you get from attending the seminar will highly out
weigh the cost of attending!

Good luck and Get5Bass,
