Greg Grace and Jared Allen Win on Lake Dardanelle!!!

33 Boats showed up at Dardnanelle Bay for the Third Annual Plainview
Firemans Tournament. It was a day with strong cold winds but it did not deter
the fish from biting as 13 teams brought in a limit. It was a grudge match for
those who had fish as the average weight for the teams with limits were in the
14 - 16 lb range. At least 4 fish over 6lbs were brought in and it took 18lbs to
win. Jared Allen and Greg Grace barely took 1st place with 18.39 pounds, and
this is 3 weeks in a row the Jared has put a win notch on his belt. When your
hot your hot so lets see how he did it again this week:
1st Place 18.39lbs - Jared Allen/Greg Grace
They ran to the big pit and slugged out another impressive limit with the
Jackall Squirrel 79DD. Five fish were all they could come up with in the pit but
a move to the main lake gave them another keeper to cull one of the small
ones.
2nd place
2nd Place 18.33lbs - Brandon Lee/Scott Lee
They ran up river fishing shallow laydowns in prespawn areas. Brandon and
his dad only had 4 fish but they also had the days big bass a 7.09 Swamp
Donkey. He commented they had their limit fish on twice but had some poor
execution to getting it into the boat.
3rd place
3rd Place 16.88lbs - David James/Rex Rose
It was the Jackall Squirrel 79DD that gave them all their fish and they just
happened to be fishing right by Jared and Greg. Rex commented that the bite
was slow and you had to fish the squirrel real slow and it was a bite every once
and a while. They caught 7 keepers on the day and had their last fish by
11:00am.
