The Big Bite Baits Kriet Kreature: A Versatile Soft Plastic
The Kriet Kreature produces on DeGray Lake!!!
Story by Frank Leone
Jeff Kriet is a self-described
"Dragger". He knows a thing or two
dragging a rig or tossing a Texas-
rigged soft plastic to deep brush.
That's why it's no surprise that
a soft plastic bait designed by
Kriet would have all the necessary
components to load the boat with
bass. The Big Bite Baits Kriet
Kreature is just such a bait. It is
available in two sizes, the
substantial 6-inch model and the
more diminutive 4-inch model.
Besides for the size, the two models are exactly the same. Both feature
a "ring worm" type body, two large "claw-like" appendages, and two
elongated twin tails. The first thing we noticed about the Kriet Kreature
upon testing was the awesome
action of the two claw-like
appendages. They moved a lot of
water, which in turn will help to
attract a hungry or curious bass.
The "ring-worm" type body is also a
great feature of this bait. Not only
do the rings displace more water
than a standard body, but they also
provide for a more realistic feel
to the fish when they eat it. This
results in an increased hook-up
percentage and more fish in the
boat. We had great success with
this bait on the end of our Carolina-
rigs, but the bait is also a great
option for pitching with a Texas-rig or simply lobbing a heavier setup
towards a brush pile. The Big Bite Baits Kriet Kreature is available in 11
fish catching colors and economically priced. Check them out at
