                        Johnny Johnson Wins on Pool 2 !!!

Johnny topped 18 anglers to win the classic at Pool 2 of the Arkansas
River on Saturday October 25.  Eighteen members qualified for this
tournament. To qualify, you had win a club tournament or finish in the
top 10 at the end of the year. Ten places received checks for this
tournament. First through forth places received great checks and fifth
through tenth reached their dues back for the year. Johnny kept his hot
streak going by catching 5 bass for 15.81 pounds. His margin of victory
for this tournament was almost four pounds. This tournament concluded
one of the best years in the Monticello Bass Club history. Here is how
the top 4 finishers caught their fish:

1st – Johnny Johnson - 5 bass – 15.81 pounds

Johnny continued his dominate streak of late. He has 4 wins and a
second place in the last 5 tournaments he fished.  All but one of those
high finishes was at Pool 2. Johnny fished the Annex area all day long.
He caught his fish on a black and red jig.

2nd – Philip Starks – 5 bass – 12.02 pounds

Philip caught his fish in Merrisach on a spinnerbait and a rattle trap.

3rd – Adam Starks - 4 bass – 11.77 pounds

Adam caught one of his fish in Post Lake on a spinnerbait and the rest
of his fish in Coal Pile on a jig.

4th – Mike Morgan - 5 bass – 11.36 pounds

Mike caught his fish in Carp Hole on the lure he catches all his fish on, a
War Eagle spinnerbait

Big Bass – Johnny Johnson – 5.42 pounds

Johnny caught this fish in the Annex on a black and red jig.
