Tim Fleetwood and Mike Merrell Win on Bull Shoals Lake!!!

WOW!-Absolutely amazing! The final tournament of the season for the
Mid-Central Buddy Winter Bass Tournaments was exciting to say the least
with 25 limits weighed in. With many teams bringing their five fish to the
scales thinking they would win or at the very least take a check. One by
one their hopes were dashed as the fish just kept getting bigger and bigger.
The prior week 15 pounds took a check but this tournament told a different
story, taking over 20 pounds to get in the money. "Bull Shoals is alive and
well" As the anglers were weighing their fish the most of them had the same
story to tell, "We caught our fish on a jerkbait" and we had a limit by 8:30
or 9:00.
Tim Fleetwood and Mike Merrell from Forsyth, Missouri took top honors
with 23.77 pounds, folks this is truly amazing for Bull Shoals Lake, it is alive
and the Bass are big and healthy. There biggest Bass weighed in at 5.99
pounds and then they had a 5.76 pounder to go along with it. Culling out
several bass in the three pound range.
Second place went to Randy Zeigler and Justin Tyler with 21.55 pounds.
This Arkansas team gave the Same story, we caught 'em on a jerkbait.
The father and son team of Bob and Andy Foster took third place with
20.66 pounds. You guessed it, they caught their fish on a jerkbait.
Chad Whited and Carl Schuh cashed the Big Bass check of the day with a
6.51 pound bass, they had a Slightly different story on the big one, it was
caught on a crankbait. Their five fish limit weighed in at 19.68 pounds.
4th Place: 20.63 pounds - Eric Toliver & Zack Lawrence
5th Place: 20.13 pounds - Mike Sanders & Bryan Deardoff
Thank you to all the anglers that fished this past season, without you
