Tournament on Lake Dardanelle
Frank Leone and Dylan Hawkins Win on Lake Dardanelle!!!
Dylan Hawkins and Frank Leone topped 10 teams fishing the Heartland
Anglers Tournament on Lake Dardanelle by catching 5 bass that tipped
the scales at 18.02 pounds. A cloudy morning put the fish on the bite as
several 5 bass limits crossed the scales. Here's how the top 3 teams
caught their fish:
1st - Dylan Hawkins and Frank Leone - 5 bass - 18.02 pounds - $460.00
Dylan and I caught our fish on a multitude of different baits and
presentations. We fished the lower end of the lake, where we caught
our fish on Spro Bronzeye Frogs, Jewel Football Jigs, All Terrain Swim
Jigs, and large grass jigs. Our bag included the day's big bass, a 5.13
pound "toad". For a more detailed look at our day, read the "In the

2nd - Tray Huddleston and Spencer Grace - 5 bass - 16.77 pounds
Tray and Spencer had an
awesome day on the water and
landed between 30 - 40 keepers
on the day. They fished upriver,
where they caught most of their
bass on a frog.

3rd - Justin Minnie and Rex Rose - 5 bass - 15.19 pounds
Justin and Rex fished the lower
end of Dardanelle, where they
focused on fishing brushpiles
with big plastic worms and jigs
to catch their bass. They landed
10 keepers on the day.
