Allen/Spencer Win Get5Bass Challenge Year-end Championship
Tournament on Lake Dardanelle

Jarred Allen and Spencer Grace win with 15.65 pounds

Jarred Allen and Spencer Grace topped 15 teams fishing the
Get5Bass.com Challenge year-end tournament on Lake Dardanelle by
bringing 5 bass to the scales weighing 15.65 pounds. Their sack also
included the day's big bass, a 5.60 pound "gorilla". The duo caught their
fish on Horny Toads in the Illinois Bayou around shallow vegetation.

In other news, Randy Allen was named Get5Bass.com "Angler of the Year"
and received $500.00 for his efforts. In reality, because the Thursday Night
Series is a team tournament circuit, This award should go to the "Team of
the year". We didn't keep points that way this year because of all the "team
swapping" that occurs, but we might change that next year. At any rate,
any one familiar with the Thursday night tournaments would tell you that
the "Team of the Year" for 2006 was without a doubt Randy Allen and
Wayne Dixon. The duo dominated the series by winning 8 of 21
tournaments. "The good Lord really blessed us this year" said Dixon. "We
only fish the Lake a couple days a week, but we have a system that really
works for us during these short night tournaments" Dixon continued. "We
generally fish shallow during the earlier part of the season, and follow the
fish out to deeper structure when they make their move" said Allen. "We
primarily use jigs, plastic worms, and crankbaits - That's our big 3 as far as
lure selection goes. We also do the majority of our fishing in the Illinois
Bayou area" Allen continued.

Get5Bass and Randy Horton would like to thank all the anglers for their
