Get5Bass.com Summer Series event by catching 5 bass that tipped the scales
at 14.90 pounds. Spencer and Jarred remain hot, and are currently 1st in the
Summer Series points race. Here's how they caught their fish:
1st - Spencer Grace and Jared Allen - 5 bass - 14.90 pounds - $525.00
Spencer and Jared stayed with the lure that has been hot for them all year - a
black and blue jig. They fished the jig around shallow vegetation, using two
different presentations - Swimming and Pitching. They landed 7 or 8 keepers
on the night and several shorts. All of their fish were caught in the Illinois
Bayou area.
