25 Boats came out for the second tournament of the
Get5Bass.com Summer Series and Jerry Watson/ Tony
Rankin got the win. Here is how they caught their fish.
1st Place
Jerry Watson/Tony Rankin - 17.88lbs
Jerry and Tony caught their fish out of the grass swimming a brushhog.
"It just seemed like they wanted something moving". With the
evening storm and cloud cover it helped the grass bite and that
is where we stayed.
2nd Place
Dylan Hawkins/Tray Huddleston - 16.93lbs
It was a jig bite in the water willow and they battled it out
with the third place team in the same grass. Black/Blue jig
seemed to be the best color.
3rd Place
Jared Allen/Spencer Grace -15.95lbs
Jared and Spencer have been consistent this year
and always seem to bring in a limit. It has payed off as they are
leading the Get5 Summer Series points race and will likely stay close to the top.
