Series Tournament on Lake Dardanelle
Lance Adams and Richard Tomlin Win on Lake Dardanelle!!!
Lance Adams and Richard Tomlin topped 29 teams fishing the first
Get5Bass Winter Series Tournament of the 2009 season by catching 5 bass
that weighed 19.50 pounds. The bite was tough on Dardanelle, but 6 teams
managed to bring 5 bass limits to the scales. Here's how the top 3 teams
caught their fish:
1st - Lance Adams/Richard Tomlin - 5 bass - 19.50 pounds - $940.00
Lance and Richard caught a limit early on a Texas-rigged Gitzit and
spinnerbait, but were able to upgrade later in the day with a Rattletrap.
They stayed on the lower end of the lake and caught 10 keepers during the
tournament.
2nd - Danny and Sharon Waldo - 5 bass - 18.43 pounds - $550.00
Danny and Sharon's bag included the
day's big bass, a 6.46 pound "toad"
that earned them an additional
$125. All of their fish were caught on
Lucky Craft Pointer 100 jerkbaits
in Cane Creek. They caught 9
keepers on the day.

the mid-lake area and worked their
way back downriver. They caught
8 keepers on the day.
