Spencer Grace and Jared Allen Win Get5Bass Winter Series Tournament on Lake Dardanelle
Spencer Grace and Jared Allen Crush 23.24 pounds to win on Lake Dardanelle
The duo of Spencer Grace and Jared Allen topped 22 teams fishing the first Get5Bass.com Winter Series tournament by catching 5 bass that tipped the scales at 23.24 pounds. Their giant stringer also included the day's big bass, a 6.01 pound "gorilla". The plummeting water temperatures and cloudy weather turned the bite on, as 10 teams brought 5 bass limits to the scales. 1st place - Spencer Grace and Jared Allen - 5 bass - 23.24 pounds - $800.00
Spencer and Jared stayed on the lower end of Dardanelle. They threw black and blue jigs to catch approximately 30 keeper bass on the day.
2nd place - Zach King and Shawn Gordon - 5 bass - 20.14 pounds - $400.00
Zach and Shawn fished the middle section of Dardanelle. They threw Excaliber XR-50 and XR-75 Rattle Bait's, 3/4 oz. War Eagle spinnerbaits, and Hook, Line and Sinker football head jigs to catch their fish. They caught approximatley 20 - 25 keeper bass on the day. Shawn Gordon and Zach King
3rd place - Mark Hensiek and Bradley Stewart - 5 bass - 17.90 pounds - $300.00
Mark and Bradley threw spinnerbaits and punched mats with a Reaction Innovations Sweet Beaver (California 420) to catch their fish. They landed 6 keeper bass on the day.
