Justin Lancaster and Johnny Judkins Win Get5Bass Winter Series
Tournament on Lake Dardanelle
Justin Lancaster and Johnny Judkins Win with 22.23 pounds!!!
Justin Lancaster and Johnny Judkins topped 21 teams fishing the final
Get5Bass Winter Series Tournament of the year by catching 5 bass that
weighed 22.23 pounds. This was Justin and Johnny's second Winter Series
victory and capped off a great season that seen them take home three
checks. The high pressure and bright blue skies hurt the bite on Dardanelle a
little on Saturday, but two teams managed to catch 20-pound + sacks. Here's
how the top three teams caught their fish:
1st - Justin Lancaster and Johnny Judkins - 5 bass - 22.23 pounds - $800.00
Justin and Johnny fished around wood and rocks on the lower end of
Dardanelle and caught 11 keepers on the day. They had a limit by 9:30 AM,
but were able to cull several times throughout the day. A black/blue jig and
3/4 oz. War Eagle spinnerbait (Mouse) produced their great bag of fish. Their
sack also included the day's big bass, a 6.12 pound "toad".
2nd - Danny and Sharon Waldo - 5 bass - 20.60 pounds - $400.00
Danny and Sharon fished the middle
section of Dardanelle, where they
caught 12-13 keepers on the day.
They relied on a drop shot rig tipped
with a Zoom Finesse Worm (green
pumpkin) to catch their fish. Danny
commented that their fish were caught
in deep water (15 - 20 foot) around
channel breaks.

3rd - Steve and Jason Squires - 5 bass - 17.08 pounds - $300.00
Steve and Jason fished the lower
end of Dardanelle, where they were
able to land a solid 5 bass limit
before their bite died at noon. They
threw Lucky Craft jerkbaits (Pointer
100) to catch their fish.

4th - Wayne Dixon/Jared Allen - 5 bass - 16.54 pounds - $225.00
5th - Brad and Cameron Southard - 5 bass - 15.04 pounds - $175.00
6th - Richard Tomlin/Lance Adams - 5 bass - 12.72 pounds - $125.00
Big Bass - Justin Lancaster and Johnny Judkins - $75.00

Mark Hensiek and Bradley Stewart Win the Get5Bass Winter
Series Angler of the Year Award!!!

As predicted, the Get5Bass Winter Series AOY race came down to the wire.
The duo of Mark Hensiek and Bradley Stewart held a 4-point lead over Zach
King and Shawn Gordon coming into Saturday's tournament, but both teams
struggled in the final event. Hensiek and Stewart only brought one bass to
the scales on Saturday, but it was enough to win by a one point margin. For
their AOY victory, Mark and Bradley received 1 free entry fee for Vince
Miller's Super Team Tournament, 1 free Pro and Amateur Entry Fee for the
Mr. Bass of Arkansas Tournament of their choice, and 2 AOY jackets
