Marvin Harris and Tony Bauer Win Get5Bass Winter Series
Tournament on Lake Dardanelle
Marvin Harris and Tony Bauer Win with 20.97 pounds!!!
The duo of Marvin Harris and Tony Bauer topped 22 teams fishing the 4th
Get5Bass Winter Series Tournament of the season by catching 5 bass that
tipped the scales at 20.97 pounds. With water temperatures ranging from 38 -
39 degrees in most areas, finding warmer water was key for this week's top
finishers. Here's how the top 3 teams caught their fish:
1st place - Marvin Harris/Tony Bauer - 5 bass - 20.97 pounds - $800.00
Marvin and Tony started their day near the ANO plant, where they quickly
landed 4 keepers on Rattletraps and Sweet Beavers. When the sun came out
they headed towards a point on the lower end of the lake. The fish were there,
and Marvin and Tony capitalized!!! Throwing a Rapala X-rap jerkbait, they
proceeded to upgrade their bag. They landed 8 or 9 keepers on the day.
2nd place - Mark Hensiek/Bradley Stewart - 5 bass - 20.30 pounds - $400.00
Mark and Bradley successfully
widened their lead in the AOY race
by catching another quality sack.
They fished mid-lake, where they
threw jerkbaits (Lucky Craft Pointer
100), Jigs, and spinnerbaits to land
their fish. Their sack included the
day's big bass, a 6.08 pound "Toad".
They caught 7 keepers on the day.

3rd place - Brad and Cameron Southard - 5 bass - 20.12 pounds - $300.00
Brad and Cameron found the
warmest water that they could on the
lower end of Dardanelle, and it
payed off. They threw Storm swim
baits and jigs (black/blue) to land 10
-12 keeper bass on the day.
