Gabe Harrington and Jeremiah Kindy Win the Get5Bass Winter
Series Championship on DeGray Lake
Gabe Harrington and Jeremiah Kindy Win on DeGray Lake!!!
Gabe Harrington and Jeremiah Kindy topped 24 teams fishing the final
Get5Bass Winter Series Tournament in the Southern Division by catching 5
bass that weighed 20.83 pounds. The bite was on at DeGray, as several
quality sacks were brought to the scales. Here's how the top 3 teams caught
their bass:
1st - Gabe Harrington/Jeremiah Kindy - 5 bass - 20.83 pounds - $800.00
Gabe and Jeremiah caught their keepers on jigs and rattletraps. They
commented that the jig (green pumpkin/watermelon) was responsible for the
majority of their weight. They fished the jig around deep trees, brushpiles,
and rock piles.
2nd - Ron and Spencer Shuffield - 5 bass - 19.66 pounds - $520.00
Ron and Spencer had several
locations holding fish and had to
move around quite a bit during the
day. They ended up catching about
11 or 12 keepers on the day, almost
all of which took a black/blue jig
fished in 25 - 30 feet of water.

3rd - Adam Wright/Don Vining - 5 bass - 18.99 pounds - $320.00
Adam and Don fished points in
22 - 24 feet of water to catch their
sack. All of their bass were caught on
black/blue jigs. Their sack included
the day's big bass, a 7.02 pound
"wart hog", which earned them an
additional $100.00.
