Lance Adams and Richard Tomlin Win Get5Bass Winter Series Tournament on Lake Dardanelle
Richard Tomlin and Lance Adams Win on Lake Dardanelle!!!
The duo of Lance Adams and Richard Tomlin topped 25 teams fishing the third Get5Bass Winter Series Tournament this weekend on Lake Dardanelle by catching 5 bass that tipped the scales at 22.28 pounds. Colder water temperatures have put the big fish in predictable locations and the anglers fishing this weekend reaped the benefits, as 10 limits were brought to the scales. Mark Hensiek and Bradley Stewart took over the points lead in the Get5Bass Winter Series Angler of the Year race, but their lead over Zach King and Shawn Gordon is a slim one - only 2 points! With only two tournaments to go, the AOY race is sure to be a dog fight!
Here's how the top three teams caught their fish:
1st place - Lance Adams and Richard Tomlin - 5 bass - 22.28 pounds - $850.00
Lance and Richard caught all their fish by 10:00 AM on Lucky Craft jerkbaits (Pointer 100) and jigs fished around rocks. Lance said he lost his only good pointer and he does not have any more at his store (Lefty's Gun and Pawn - Dardanelle) either. You can bet Lance will be loading up on more of his winning bait soon!!!
2nd place - Johnny Judkins and Justin Lancaster - 5 bass -18.49 pounds - $500.00
The early bite also produced for Johnny and Justin and that. All their fish were caught by 10:00 AM on spinnerbaits and black & blue jigs. Their fish sack also included the day's big bass, a 6.47 pound "Gorilla", which earned them an additional $150.

Mark and Bradley caught all their fish on Jerkbaits (Lucky Craft Pointer 100) and Black & Blue jigs with a Gambler Flap Daddy for trailer. Rock and wood were the biggest key. All their fish were caught on the lower end of the lake. They had 15 keepers on the day but struggled to improve their bag in the afternoon hours. Bradley Stewart and Mark Hensiek
