Series Championship on Lake Dardanelle
Jerry Watson and Tony Rankin Win the Get5Bass Summer Series Championship
Jerry Watson and Tony Rankin topped 18 teams fishing the Get5Bass
Summer Series Championship on Lake Dardanelle by catching 4 bass that
tipped the scales at 15.13 pounds. Fishing was tough again on Dardanelle,
as only six limits of 5 bass crossed the scales. Get5 would like to thank all
the anglers that fished with us during the Summer Series. We are proud to
bring a 100% cash payback series to the anglers of the River Valley.
Here's how the winning anglers caught their fish:
1st - Tony Rankin/Jerry Watson - 4 bass - 15.13 pounds - $800.00
Tony and Jerry fished the lower end of the lake, where they threw jigs
(black/blue) to catch their fish. They commented that the bite was slow
and they had to move around often to catch their fish. They lost a keeper
early and thought that not bringing in 5 would hurt them, but they were
able to pull out the victory with 4. Get5 congratulates Tony and Jerry on
their Championship victory!!!
2nd place - Brian and Brent Chenowith - 5 bass - 14.76 pounds - $450.00
Brian and Brent also stayed on the
lower end of the lake. They threw
homemade jigs (black/blue) to catch
their fish.

3rd place - Jason and Steve Squires - 5 bass - 12.16 pounds - $180.00
Jason and Steve ended up in a
tie for 3rd place. Their bag included
the day's big bass, a 5.55 pound "toad",
which earned them an additional
$100.00.

3rd place - Spencer Grace and Jared Allen - 5 bass - 12.16 pounds - $180.00
Spencer and Jared also tied for third.
Get5 congratulates Spencer and Jared
for winning the "Anglers of the Year"
award for the 2nd consecutive season.
For their accomplishment, they will each
receive a Shimano Curado reel and a
Dobyns Rod - a prize package valued at
$700.00 !!!!
