Mark Fletcher and Rusty Allen Win on Lake Dardanelle!!!
Mark Fletcher and Rusty Allen topped 21 teams fishing the eighth Get5Bass
Summer Series tournament of the season on Lake Dardanelle by catching 5
bass that tipped the scales at 12.96 pounds. The "dog days" of summer are
upon us and it appears that the bite on Lake Dardanelle is tough, as only 1
five bass limit crossed the scales. Here's how Mark and Rusty caught their
fish:
1st place - Mark Fletcher and Rusty Allen - 5 bass - 12.96 pounds - $450.00
Mark and Rusty concentrated their efforts around brushpiles. Although they
started with crankbaits, all of their keeper fish were landed on plastic worms.
They fished the lower end of Lake Dardanelle.
