Spencer Grace and Jared Allen Win on Lake Dardanelle!!!
Spencer Grace and Jared Allen topped 25 teams fishing the 6th Get5Bass
Summer Series event of the season by catching 5 bass that tipped the scales
at 12.39 pounds. Bluebird skies and high pressure conditions made for a
tough bite, as only 2 limits crossed the scales. Here's how the top 3 teams
caught their fish:
1st - Spencer Grace and Jared Allen - 5 bass - 12.39 pounds - $525.00
Spencer and Jared fished behind the legend (Mark Fletcher), but were still
able to catch the winning bag. They threw jigs (black/blue) near brushpiles to
catch their 5 bass limit.
2nd - Jason Lieblong/Jerry Williams - 5 bass - 10.34 pounds - $300.00
Jason and Jerry threw spinnerbaits
and worms around shallow vegetation
to catch their fish. They lost a 4-
pounder early in the night that may
have cost them the victory.

3rd - Richard Gay/Randy Reehm - 3 bass - 10.27 pounds - $150.00
Richard and Randy threw jigs
(black/blue), but used three different
presentations to catch their fish.
Punching mats, swimming jigs shallow,
and casting their jigs to brush tops
all put one keeper in the boat. Their
bag included the day's big bass, a
4.92 pound "Baby Cub", which
earned them an additional $100.00
