Series Tournament on Lake Dardanelle
Tony Rankin and Jerry Watson Win on Lake Dardanelle!!!
Tony Rankin and Jerry Watson topped 20 teams fishing the Get5Bass
Summer Series Tournament on Lake Dardanelle by catching 5 bass that
weighed 20.22 pounds. Tony and Jerry popped a big sack and lapped the
field this week en route to their 3rd consecutive Summer Series Win. Here's
how the top three teams caught their bass:
1st - Tony Rankin and Jerry Watson - 5 bass - 20.22 pounds - $400.00
Tony and Jerry concentrated their efforts around brushpiles, where their
threw Gitzits and Zoom Brush Hogs (Texas -rigged). They said the action
was steady and that they landed 8 keepers on the night. Their sack also
included the evening's big bass, a 5.14 "Brute" which earned them an
additional $75.00.
2nd - Brandon Hunt and Bradley Stewart - 3 bass - 8.72 pounds - $225.00
Brandon and Bradley fished the
mid-lake area, where they threw
frogs (Spro Bronzeye) to catch their
bass.

3rd - Zach King and Joey Fisher - 3 bass - 6.65 pounds - $125.00
Zach and Joey locked down to Pool
9, where they caught two keepers on
a Bomber crankbait. After locking
back to Dardanelle, they caught one
more keeper on a 10" Worm off of a
brush pile.
