Series Tournament on Lake Dardanelle
Shawn Gordon and Zach King Win on Lake Dardanelle!!!
Shawn Gordon and Zach King topped 25 teams fishing the second
GetBass Summer Series Tournament of 2009 by catching 5 bass that
weighed 12.42 pounds. It was a very tough bite on Lake Dardanelle and
only one limit was brought to the scales. Here's how the top 3 teams
caught their fish:
1st - Shawn Gordon and Zach King - 5 bass - 12.42 pounds - $525.00
Shawn and Zach fished in the Piney Bay area where they caught their
bass on Yum Lizards and Yum Money Minnows.
2nd - Johnny and Connie Rudder - 3 bass - 9.95 pounds
Johnny and Connie caught their
bass on crankbaits. Their sack also
included the day's big bass, a
4.27 pound "Baby Cub".

3rd - Tony Rankin and Jerry Watson - 3 bass - 9.08 pounds
Tony and Jerry stayed on the
lower end of the lake where they
threw Black lizards to catch their
bass.
