Kendall and Chad Oneal Win on Lake Greeson!!!

62 Teams brave cold, wind, rain, sleet and snow to fish the first Futrell
Marine tournament of 2009 The father and son team of Chad and
Kendall Oneal brought in a limit of 5 bass, weighing 15.22 lbs to win
$1,600 in Saturdays tournament on Lake Greeson.The tournament
started in cold, cloudy weather at daylight,and it went downhill from
there. The temperature dropped from 46 at the start to 36 with 30 mile
per hour North winds at the finish. Surprisingly, there were a large
number of limits weighed in with good quality fish.
The Oneals, from Kirby,Ark fished in the mid-lake area, using a jig n pig
and crank baits to bring in their limit. They caught 8 keeper-size bass in
the day with one being the big bass of the tournament at 5.82 lbs., which
netted them an additional $403.
Ranger Cup money of $500 went to the team of
Greg Westfall and Robbye Westfall
2nd place: $720 went to Cody and Leon Stone with 14.87 lbs
3rd :$500 was Jeff Barfield, Brian Bridges with 14.01 lbs
4th: $390-Chris Stinnett, Spenser Sheffield with 13.26 lbs
5th: $310-Tony Hill, Tim Hill with 13.20 lbs
6th: $260-James Coleman, Ronald Jenkins
7th: $225-Phillip Oneal, Greg Fagan with 13.13 lbs
8th: $210-Greg Westfall, Robbye Westfall with 12.71 lbs
9th: $195-Stacy Smith, Chance Stone with 12.31 lbs
10th: $180-Tod Miller, Robin Miller with 11.99 lbs
11th: $160-James Arnold, Brian Smith
12th: $130-Vernon Lamb, Danny Scott with 11.51 lbs
$100 , given by Diamond City Trailers, went to William Morgan,
Garrett Morgan for the lowest weight brought-in.
