Aaron McEwen Wins on Lake Hamilton!!!

The Fourche Valley Bass Club held our 2nd tournament on Lake
Hamilton, March 6th. The water temp ranged from 47-51 degrees.
Eighteen of us enjoyed a great spring day outside, but only 5 managed
to catch fish with a total of 9 fish being weighed in. Aaron McEwen won
with tow fish that busted the scales at 3.86 and also had Big Bass, a
healthy 2.90 pounder. He took home a check for $306.00. Creighton
Sawyer was second with 3 fish that weighed 3.45 lbs. and a check for
$130.00. Cody Reed was 3rd with one fish that weighed 2.53 and a
check for $86.00.
Our next tournament is March 27, on Lake Maumelle. The white bass
have turned on just west of the highway 10 bridge. If you want to have
some fun you need to get over there this week. Maumelle is one of the
best white bass lakes in the state.
