Floyd Parnell with Parnell Consultants Inc. put up all the prize money for the tournament in support of the American Cancer Society. Regions bank of Booneville was also involved in helping with the tournament and they thank everyone that come out and braved the weather for an exciting day on the water.Thunderstorms filled the skies and the occasional downpours throughout the morning didn’t keep the 27 teams that fished today from going after the $1000 top prize. The Dardanelle "Hogs" obviously felt the low pressure system overhead, which lead to an awesome bite. Here's how the top 5 teams caught their fish
1st - Randy Tucker and Scott Teer - 23.90lbs including the day's big bass (8.12lbs).

Randy and Scott fished the lower end of the lake and concentrated their efforts in three different bays. Their fish were caught on Jigs and Spinnerbaits staging to move shallow. Along with the tournament win Scott said that the 8 pounder he caught today was his personal best for the lake.
Trey and Dylan caught all their fish on the lower end of the lake on jerkbaits and rattletraps. “The dirtier the water the better” said Huddleston, and that is where they found their better fish. They said they were on fish all day and their last keeper came with an hour left and helped them cull up two pounds.
3rd - John Harwell/ Al Crenshaw - 5 bass - 21.51lbs
They concentrated their efforts in the mid lake area and caught approximately 20 fish with 7 of those being keepers. Their fish were caught on chatterbaits and spinnerbaits fished slow around isolated cover.
4th - Randy Osborne/Stan Osborne- 5 bass - 20.41lbs
All their fish were caught in the morning before the bite slowed down. They fished on the lower end of the lake and caught their fish on spinnerbaits.
