Dwight Armstrong Wins the Dumas Bass Club

Dwight Armstrong Wins on the Arkansas River!!!

It is with my deepest apologies, that I am just now getting to the last of
the regular season results for the Dumas. I could give a list of reasons
why this is so late, but excuses are like fish poop, they all stink.
The race for the Angler of the Year title really came down to the wire, so
close that it ended up being a tie. This tie will be broken at the two day
Classic.
Capturing the 1st place victory was Dwight Armstrong with a 5 fish limit
of 12.95. This finish helped him edge right on in there for the tie for
Angler of the Year.
Also with a 5 fish limit was Mr. Ronnie Blasengame. His 12.81 lb sack
also consisted of the days Big Bass, a nice 3.59 lunker.
And rounding out the top 3 was Randy Fraser who had 5 fish for a total
of 12.76.
This has been a pretty exciting year as the points leader jumped out
there in the beginning and kept the lead for some time. And now with
the tie it will all come down on the Classic and who makes the right
decisions for the day.
I have enjoyed the opportunity to fish with the Dumas Bass Club and am
looking forward to the Classic.
